Our film outputs are printed in the densest black possible to ensure crisp screen exposures. We use premium 5m waterproof films and Epson printers equipped with all black inks for optimal results.

Please note our film output pricing assumes the provided artwork is sent ready to print. Any additional artwork services needed such as vectorizing, sizing, layout or color separations will be quoted separately.

Our film outputs are optimized for the screen printing process, and may not yield ideal results for other techniques such as photogravure, cyanotype, pad printing, or solar plate etching. 

Output size may vary by 1/8", however multi-color films will all register accurately. By submitting your artwork you acknowledge and agree to these sizing adjustments that may occur.

Artwork Requirements

  • Artwork should be sent 100% black and white. (The black will be what's printed)
  • Verify your artwork is set at the actual size you want it printed.
  • Make sure your .psd, .pdf, or .bmp file has a resolution of at least 300dpi.
  • All text layers should be rasterized or converted to outlines.
  • Multi-color images should have each color on a separate layer.

We do not share or sell customer artwork. Artwork is used exclusively for producing your film.

  • Our films outputs have a .25" margin on all sides. Please refer below for the max image area on all of our available film output sizes.
  • 8.5" x 11" film output has a max image area of 8" x 10.5"
  • 11" x 17" film output has a max image area of 10.5" x 16.5"
  • 14" x 17" film output has a max image area of 13.5" x 16.5"
  • 17" x 19" film output has a max image area of 16.5" x 18.5"
  • 17" x 24" film output has a max image area of 16.5" x 23.5"
  • 17" x 30" film output has a max image area of 16.5" x 29.5"
  • 17" x 36" film output has a max image area of 16.5" x 35.5"
